Murky Depths illustration: So this is Mi

I don't often do illustrations, but this one was fun! This painting was done as an illustration for a short story in 'Murky Depths' issue number 5 (summer / autumn 2008). Of the magazine, I can do no better than to pinch the description from their own site:

Wouldn't want to spoil the story by saying anything here, but you can go to the Murky Depths website to buy a copy and see for yourself... Nicely bound 80-odd pages which I haven't as yet had a chance to peruse... (the illustration is printed in black and white, incidentally, but if you're interested in a colour print I have them available)
