Medusa's Gimps

'Medusa's Gimps' - painting by Nancy Farmer
Well now, Medusa has a new career. This is Medusa the Dominatrix - you see the Gimps here are fine because as long as they keep on their gimp masks there is no danger of their turning to stone, but is has obviously struck a certain - ah - latent domineering streak in Medusa, who is taking to her role with quite a degree of enthusiasm.
Unfortunately it would appear that Medusa is also a bit of a Chav. A Chav with style, mind you... and still a formidable lady, but nonetheless the sort who believe Orange velvet, pink candy-stripes, faux fur, and white leather upholstery to be the last word in interior decor. And who's to argue with her? Even the Snakes are kept happy with their mid-afternoon snack.
