About Us
Welcome to Spring Farm Arts. We are a group of artists who work in and around Spring Farm, Moorlinch, and are working together to provide regular open studio events.
Spring Farm Arts represents a natural progression for the artists who make up the group. We have been co-operating for several years in Somerset Arts Weeks and other joint exhibitions. We enjoyed the collaborations and it seems our visitors also relished the breadth of work available to view and purchase.
The challenge is to be accessible and available while carrying on the creative process, and this venture will give us the opportunity to be 'at home' to meet you on a regular basis.
Our association goes back to the days when Spring Farm's alias/alter ego/previous identity, Moorlynch Vineyard, besides attracting many visitors to the vineyard and wine shop, also provided a showcase for artist producers.
Spring Farm has 200-year-old traditional stone and red-roofed buildings which house some of the studios. The village of Moorlinch lies on the gentle slopes of the Polden hills, on the edge of the Somerset levels and Moors.
