DNA Angels
This is a sort of juxtaposition of Science and Religion, and one of the first ideas I ever had for a painting.
The lighter picture is a very early one, and at the time of my first solo exhibition I had already given it away as a present, but the idea was one that a lot of people found highly amusing and so I painted a second version in order to have one to display. This is the only time I have come close to repeating an image, and it's a frustrating task as it's hard to not keep thinking of the original when painting another version of it.
